From Port Harcourt to Kuje: A Journey of Care, Compassion and Impact

Behind every medical outreach is a story of relief, recovery and lives transformed.

Since 2023, Pro-Health International Africa (PHI) has served as the technical partner to Marketsquare Cares, delivering free, quality healthcare to underserved communities across Port Harcourt, Benin City, Aba and Yenagoa.

Over the years, this partnership has grown in reach and impact. In Aba alone, over 3,000 beneficiaries received more than 7,000 medical interventions, while in Yenagoa, 3,772 individuals benefited from over 9,800 medical interventions.

But beyond these figures are deeply personal stories.

In Port Harcourt, a father found relief when his daughter received a much-needed appendicitis surgery he could not afford. In Yenagoa, Ebongho Johnny, previously quoted ₦300,000–₦400,000 for surgery, received the procedure at no cost.

These experiences reflect the transformative power of accessible healthcare and what purposeful partnerships can achieve.

Now, our journey of service continues in Kuje, Abuja!

The Kuje outreach also serves as PHI’s 35th anniversary project, marking 35 years of service and impact.
