PROJECT OVERVIEW

Strengthening Nigeria's first line of defence.

IRPHEN strengthened Nigeria's capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats at strategic Points of Entry.

The programme supported airports, seaports and ground crossings through stronger surveillance, workforce development and public health emergency management systems.

Its work contributed to stronger border-health security and improved preparedness for public health emergencies.

WHY IRPHEN MATTERED

A stronger response after Ebola.
